Opportunity Available Our leading client in the Forestry Sector based in the Eastern Cape (Ugie) is looking to employ a Herdsman Supervisor to join their Cattle Department.
- Herding
- Fencing
- Daily counts and completion of count sheets
- Safe loading
- Offloading
- Walking distance exceeding 600meters
- Horse riding
- Be able to perform branding, tagging, vaccinations, dipping, dosing dehorning and castrating of calves.
- Assist vetenerians with testing of bulls and cows and or treatment of sick animals
- Do standby as per rosters
Job Requirements:
- Grade 1
- Higher Agricultural Training an advantage
- Valid Code 8 (B) driver's license
- Experience in Cattle Farming
- Experience in supervision of beef of farming enterprise
- Previous herding and fencing experience
