Our client, is a leading player in the hoisting industry, providing top-notch design, manufacturing, supply, installation, and commissioning services for winders, winches, hoists, and related equipment.
This role involves maintaining a key focus on awareness of and seamless integration with requirements of the projects, engineering, production, and services functions of the company.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Full procurement management function above R100 million annual spend in automation, mechanical, hydraulic, and fabricated project components, and spare parts categories.
- Development and management of effective procurement functions buying, expediting, quality assurance and quality control.
- Negotiation, implementation and monitoring of long term / annual supplier agreements.
- Ensure supplier purchases meet quality scope and schedule requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
- 5 years experience in Purchasing and Procurement Management within the Engineering/Mining Industry
- Formal Purchasing or Engineering Qualification
