Description
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Sales Manager in Agriculture.

The incumbent will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with the company's overall business goals and objectives.

The Sales Manager will be responsible for managing a high-performing sales team, building strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders in the agricultural industry, and driving revenue growth and market share.


Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with the company's overall business goals and objectives.

Conduct market research and analysis to identify new sales opportunities and potential customers.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders in the agricultural industry.

Develop and implement sales training programs and initiatives to improve the skills and capabilities of the sales team.

Manage all aspects of the sales operations, including sales forecasting,budgeting and reporting.


Ensure that all sales activities are properly documented and tracked, and that all data is accurate and up to date.

Identify and address customer needs and concerns, and provide excellent customer service at all times.


Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and product development, to ensure that customer needs are properly addressed and that the company's products and services are meeting customer's demand.

Prepare regular sales reports and presentations for senior management, including sales forecasts and market analysis.

Starting Salary - R

Plus a commission structure to be discussed in interview


Requirements:

Degree in Agriculture or related field

Minimum of 5 years experience in agricultural management

Strong knowledge of South African agriculture market, including current trends, challenges and opportunities

Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills

Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team

A results driven mindset, with a track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth

A valid driver's license and willingness to travel


Salary:
From R23,000.00 per month


Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Meyerton, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

Agricultural Management: 4 years (required)
