Description
Duties:
- Assessing and understanding business processes to identify key controls and risks.
- Critically evaluating the internal control environment, identifying risks, and drafting a suitable audit programme to test these controls.
- Performance of audits to identify control deficiencies, potential frauds, regulatory compliance deficiencies and management policies or procedures deviations.
- Prepare work papers, computations, and statistical reports to ensure compliance with established control procedures.
- Use sound judgment and creativity to formulate practical recommendations in response to control deficiencies/inefficiencies.
- Exercise individual judgment in audit approach.
Job Experience & Skills Required:
Qualifications:
- Matric
- BCom Accounting
- BCom Accounting
- CA(SA)
Experience:
- Completed SAICA articles.
- Experience in the retail/ manufacturing sector is highly desirable
- Understanding and proficient in MS Office and advanced Excel
Skills & Competencies:
- Presentable, professional, and confident
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Show initiative
- Have the eagerness to learn
