Description
We are looking for a dynamic and talented Community Manager with excellent all round operational and property management skills to join our team.
The Community Manager is responsible for helping with the day-to-day management of the site and its staff. Will have accountability for operational budgeting, planning, organising and directing all location services, including front-of-house, security, housekeeping and maintenance. This is an important assistant management role within the business.
This role is responsible for the overall performance of a specific location or group of locations by supervising the housekeeping staff, maintenance staff and service providers to ensure service delivery standards are met, particularly in relation to the overall well-being of members and property partners.
PUR PO S E O F T H I S R O L E
- To provide overall management, accountability and direction for the operation of the location/s.
- To maintain location occupancy, control location operating costs and generate targeted location net operating income that meets or exceeds budget, with guidance and support from the Exco and senior management team.
- Establishing and maintaining mutually beneficial relationships with members, contractors, service providers, management and team members.
- Ensure the location runs a full engagement, events and activations program to drive occupancy, retention and repeat memberships.
Salary is dependent on experience.
This is a full-time, permanent position.
It is an office based position.
Q UA L I FI CA T I O N S & E X PE R I E N CE
years professional knowledge and/or work experience
- Minimum of 3 years in Hospitality or Property Management
- 2 Years management position
- Industry/related experience
- Hotels and resorts or commercial and retail property
- Strong financial skills
- You will be able to demonstrate a high level of agility in a demanding environment and be able to effectively communicate with a broad range of stakeholders.
- Exceptional project management skills will be considered fundamental together with a motivated and commercially astute approach.
- Proven track record of successfully building and nurturing multilevel client relationships
- Exceptional listening skills and superior written and verbal communication skills in English, to produce wellthoughtout professional correspondence that is free of grammar and spelling errors
- Ability to effectively interpret and anticipate client needs, and foresee problems and prevent them by acting efficiently
- Excellent time and task management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to work both independently and within a team environment, with focus and excellent attention to detail
- Property management and Hospitality experience
- Strong property or hospitality experience
- Excellent track record with roles that require logistics/operational management
- Financial skills
- Dispute resolution skills
- Hospitalitycentric approach to dealing with customers and stakeholders
- Exceptional people skills
- Excellent organiser and planner
- Selfmotivated
- Time management skills will be considered fundamental together with a motivated and commercially astute approach
- The ability to adapt quickly to change
- Ability to demonstrate a high level of agility in a demanding environment and be able to communicate effectively
