About the Role

CK Africa Talent is seeking an experienced SHE Supervisor to join a leading manufacturing company in Rietvlei, Pretoria North. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring adherence to safety, health, and environmental standards while fostering a strong safety culture across the factory and associated quarries.

Key Responsibilities:

• SHE Systems Management: Control, audit, and maintain SHE systems to ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
• Incident Investigations: Conduct thorough accident and incident investigations, and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
• Safety Reporting: Produce regular safety-related reports and statistics to monitor performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Training and Development: Train employees and contractors on SHE policies and procedures to promote a culture of safety awareness.
• Audit and Compliance: Perform inspections, audits, and ensure compliance with the Mine Health and Safety Act and OSH Act.
• Emergency Preparedness: Develop and maintain emergency response plans to ensure business continuity in case of unexpected events.

Requirements:

• Education: Matric (Grade 12); SHEQ qualification preferred.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years in a SHE supervisory role within manufacturing.
• Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, fluent in English and Zulu, with strong knowledge of SHE legislation.
• Licensing: Valid Code EB (08) drivers license.
