Distributors specializing in medical and pharmaceutical products seek to hire a Bookkeeper to assist the Financial Manager and work closely with the Sales Manager.
Qualifications:
- Matric
- ICB Qualification / Diploma

- Advance Excel
- Sage
- Xero
Job description:
Duties will include but are not limited to:
- Invoicing and Matching invoices to payments
- Collections, reviewing the monthly debtors list for long outstanding invoices.
- Recording income received and code all transactions to the appropriate accounts.
- Accounts payable, contacting person for invoicing, loading invoices.
- Allocating GL code and other categories
- Ensuring that all creditors' payments are supported by relevant documents.
- Reviewing the monthly creditors ageing list for any abnormalities
- Assisting with stock takes every three months.
- Assisting with data entry in the inventory systems
- Ensuring that there are adequate controls and that records are accurate.
- Compiling weekly stock reports
- Completing other ad hoc tasks for the Financial Manager when needed.
