Distributors specializing in medical and pharmaceutical products seek to hire a Bookkeeper to assist the Financial Manager and work closely with the Sales Manager.


Qualifications:


  • Matric
  • ICB Qualification / Diploma

Skills:


  • Advance Excel
  • Sage
  • Xero

Job description:


Duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Invoicing and Matching invoices to payments
  • Collections, reviewing the monthly debtors list for long outstanding invoices.
  • Recording income received and code all transactions to the appropriate accounts.
  • Accounts payable, contacting person for invoicing, loading invoices.
  • Allocating GL code and other categories
  • Ensuring that all creditors' payments are supported by relevant documents.
  • Reviewing the monthly creditors ageing list for any abnormalities
  • Assisting with stock takes every three months.
  • Assisting with data entry in the inventory systems
  • Ensuring that there are adequate controls and that records are accurate.
  • Compiling weekly stock reports
  • Completing other ad hoc tasks for the Financial Manager when needed.
