Requirements:


  • A Senior Certificate (Grade 12 or equivalent)
  • 8 years' experience in a safety and security environment,
of which 3 years' should have been in a supervisory

capacity

  • Computer literacy
  • A valid Code B/EB driver's licence
  • Willingness to work overtime and be on standby if and
when required

  • A diploma/degree in a securityrelated environment would
be advantageous.

Key Performance Areas

  • Manage, oversee and coordinate the City of Cape Town's
security related tenders.

  • Manage, coordinate and oversee staff, contract security,
emergencies, break-ins, theft and losses

  • Manage staff and their performance
  • Manage contracts
  • Represent/deputise on behalf of the Operations Manager
  • Provide security services to line departments as per agreed
