Job Description for Site Engineer Position at Asie-Personnel

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Engineer to join our team in Gauteng. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

Coordinate technical control aspects on contracts, controlling and interpreting cost data to ensure project efficiency and profitability.
Advise on technical interpretation of specification requirements, representing the company with consulting engineers in matters of variance and claims.
Report to the Site Agent, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
Maintain high standards of quality, adhering to site regulations and guidelines.
Run the area efficiently, minimizing waste and optimizing resources.
Ensure a safe working environment, conducting regular risk assessments and implementing mitigation strategies.
Develop and maintain a logical filing system, completing accurate paperwork and reporting.
Communicate effectively with the quantity surveyor, supervisor, and clients, providing timely updates and notifications.
Collaborate with the professional team, managing problems and coming up with creative solutions.

Desired Experience and Qualification

Bachelor of Science in Construction Management or Construction Engineering degree.
1-2 years' experience from a large construction firm, preferably with a focus on site engineering.
Valid driver's license and own vehicle essential for site visits and travel.
