Scope and General Purpose of the Job:
Duties include but are not limited to:
Operations
- Oversee daily operation of the front office desk, including guest checkin/check
- Train, supervise and mentor front office staff to ensure adherence to hotel standards.
- Participate in the recruitment and selection process of front office staff.
- Assist in implementing strategies to maximize room revenue and occupancy levels, including upselling and crossselling techniques.
- Oversee the checkin/checkout process, including room assignments, billing, and payment processing.
- Monitor and enforce hotel policies and procedures to ensure compliance and uphold standards of quality and service.
- Maintain accurate records and reports related to front desk activities, including occupancy, revenue, and guest feedback.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Handle guest complaints and concerns with professionalism and patience.
- Maintain an organized and efficient front desk.
- Implement and monitor office budget and expenses.
- Stay updated with the latest trends in front office operations and hospitality technology.
- Promptly handle, follow up and secure any lead received by the Sales/events or Reservations department.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Degree/ Diploma in Hospitality Management or related field
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in Hotel front office operations, with at least 2 years' experience in a Supervisory or managerial role.
- Advanced knowledge of MS package
- Must be able to work shifts, as well as weekends and public holidays as per required.
