Description
Grade 12 or technical qualification
Must be qualified as an EME or equivalent mechanic
Experience with hydraulic cylinders is essential
Individual must come from the earthmoving equipment / construction equipment industry
Must be able to measure with micro meters - this is essential
Minimum 4-5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Microsoft Package exp is essential
Follows policies and procedures
Innovation - Displays original thinking and creativity
Safety and Security - Observes safety and security procedures
Must be able to read technical drawings
Must be able to use measurement equipment
Adhere to time and attendance policy
Strip, report, refurbish, assemble and test hydraulic cylinders
Assess disassembled cylinders
Assess cylinder components before assembly
Complete QIRs on all cylinders
Technical reporting on all failures
Complete CARs on all cylinders
Adhere to standards and policies
Adhere to Safety and Health regulations
Assessment and reporting on all cylinders
Strip, refurbish, report, assemble and test cylinders
Housekeeping, working area should be tidy at all times
Must be willing to rotate between different sections
Must be willing to work overtime
Know the companies policies and procedures
Assemble all types of cylinders
Testing of all cylinders
