    Description

    Technical Service Manager sought to oversee maintenance, repair, and management of medical technology at a leading healthcare provider.

    The Technical Service Manager will lead a team of biomedical engineers and technicians, ensuring efficient and effective operation of hospital medical equipment and technology.

    Key responsibilities include leadership and management, equipment management, compliance and safety, vendor coordination, budget management, and emergency response.

    Qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, and strong leadership and management skills.

    • Leadership and Management:
      • Lead and manage a team of biomedical engineers and technical staff.
      • Provide training, performance evaluations, and professional development opportunities.
    • Equipment Management:
      • Oversee the maintenance, repair, and calibration of medical equipment.
      • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs.
    • Compliance and Safety:
      • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and hospital policies.
      • Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance and repairs.
    • Vendor Coordination:
      • Liaise with equipment vendors for service contracts, warranty claims, and repairs.
      • Negotiate and manage service agreements.
    • Budget Management:
      • Develop and manage the technical service budget.
      • Monitor expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities.
    • Emergency Response:
      • Address and resolve equipment issues promptly to minimize downtime and ensure patient safety.
    • Qualifications:
      • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
      • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within a hospital or healthcare setting or plant/building maintenance.
      • Strong leadership and management skills.
