Outbound Warehouse Operator your future position?

Purpose

Responsible for operating material handling equipment while performing tasks to include shipping, receiving,unloading, scanning, moving, staging, loading, locating, relocating, and stacking product

Core Responsibilities:

You will read customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered,and/or distributed and prepare product(s) for shipment, ensuring that the exact number and type of product is loaded as percustomer orders.
You will sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence suchas size, type, style, color, or product code.
You will load, unload, move, stack and stage products and materials in dedicated areas using a fork lift, clamptruck or other power equipment. You will prepare unused materials for return to main warehouse.
You will assist with physical inventories and cycle counts, ensuring proper stock rotation, and maintain accurateinventory records in the warehouse management system. You will maintain accurate inventory records, including the scanning of products.
You will maintain distribution center/ warehouse and equipments by keeping it clean and safe, reporting servicerequests as needed. You will conduct operations in compliance with company guidelines and public regulations in a manner whichpromotes safety (i.e. GMP, AIB, OSHA, HACCP, FDA, USDA).
You will identify deviations and document/communicate them in compliance with Standard Operating Procedures. You will execute other tasks as required and assigned by supervisor.

Academic Background

Technical Skills

Basic math and writing skills.
Ability to follow operating equipment utilization procedures.
Ability to follow safety regulations while operating equipment.
Ability to operate forklifts and/or other powered material handling equipments.
Ability to to operate inventory management systems (e.g. SAP), including barcoding.
