Description
Aluvent is looking to employ an experienced and energetic estimator to join their sales team in Cape Town.

To be successful in this position, you will need to demonstrate the following:

  • Competent estimating ability and experience
  • Indepth understanding of the glass and aluminium industry and products with 5 years+ proven industry experience
  • Experience in Starfront & Quick Quotes
  • Preferable experience with JBCC contracts
  • Excellent technical skills
  • Excellent ability to read and understand building plans and technical drawings
  • Good understanding of costings and costings principles
  • Ability to work alone and as part of a team
  • Strong ability to be organized and structured
  • Strong planning ability
  • Ability to work under pressure and strong drive to meet deadlines
  • Demonstrable ability to live the vision of the company and positively add to company culture

Responsibilities:


  • Full estimation function across a variety of glass and aluminium products as well as custom products
  • Sales administrative responsibilities
  • Understand and be responsible for correct costing

What we offer:

After 3-month probation period:
