    Description

    We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Safety and Risk Manager to lead and manage our organization's safety, health, environmental, and risk management programs.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive safety, health, environmental, and risk management policies and procedures.
    • Ensure policies are aligned with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
    • Monitor and enforce compliance with local, provincial, and national safety and environmental regulations.
    • Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify and address non-compliance issues.
    • Conduct risk assessments to identify potential hazards and develop strategies for mitigation.
    • Implement measures to minimize workplace accidents, injuries, and environmental impact.
    • Develop and deliver training programs to enhance employee awareness of safety, health, and environmental issues.
    • Lead investigations into safety incidents, accidents, and environmental spills.
    • Develop and maintain emergency response plans to address potential workplace emergencies.
    • Prepare and submit regulatory reports related to safety, health, and environmental performance.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Management, or related field.
    • 5+ years of experience as a SHER Manager or in a similar role.
    • Professional certification in safety management is advantageous.
