Major tasks of the job:
- The incumbent will be responsible for assisting the artisan in machine maintenance, servicing and repairing of all process equipment.
Knowledge/Education Requirement: - Grade 12 or equivalent;
- Knowledge of the Sylvania processes.
Experience and requirements: - Minimum 2 years related engineering experience;
- Familiar with engineering tools and equipment;
- Good safety and housekeeping skills are essential.
Personality Requirements: - Team player;
- Self-motivated, enthusiastic individual;
- Good communication skills;
- Display the necessary ability in solving mechanical problems;
- Proactive individual.
Other Requirements: - Stay in close proximity of the Western Operations or be prepared to relocate;
- Prepared to work overtime, when necessary;
