Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and execute mining and process plant projects.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundational understanding of mechanical systems, machinery, and industrial processes, as well as excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.

This is a permanent position offering career stability and growth in the project engineering field, with opportunities to contribute to impactful projects in the mining sector across Africa.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with electrical, civil, and process engineers to execute mining and process plant projects.
Conduct technical assessments and contribute to equipment, materials, and mechanical systems selection.
Develop technical documentation, reports, and specifications aligned with project requirements.
Review vendor drawings and specifications for procurement activities.
Assist in project planning, scheduling, and cost control to meet project milestones.
Liaise with clients, suppliers, and contractors for seamless project delivery.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (recently graduated or within 1 year of graduation).
Previous exposure to mining, process plants, or heavy industry (internship or work experience) advantageous but not required.
Strong foundational understanding of mechanical systems, machinery, and industrial processes.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
Eager to work in a team-oriented environment and learn from experienced engineers.
Willingness to travel and engage in fieldwork across remote locations in Africa.
Demonstrates perseverance, enthusiasm, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

What We Offer:

A competitive salary of R650,000 - R750,000 per annum.
