BCom Accounting Lecturer


Location:
Damelin Randburg Campus, Johannesburg


Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging lectures and facilitate interactive discussions in BCom Accounting courses

Develop and update course materials, lesson plans, and assessments

Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback

Stay updated with the latest industry trends and practices through continuous professional development

Contribute to curriculum development and participate in academic activities within the department


Requirements:

Minimum Master's degree in Accounting or a related field (Ph.
D. preferred)

Previous experience teaching BCom Accounting courses at the tertiary level

Strong knowledge and expertise in accounting principles, financial reporting, taxation, auditing, and related areas

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to effectively engage and motivate students

Proficiency in educational technology and learning management systems

Professional certifications such as CA (SA) or similar will be an advantage

Previous industry experience or research contributions will be considered favorably
