Senior Specialist: Spectrum Assurance

The purpose of this role is to oversee the company's spectrum strategy and facilitate its implementation through short-term and long-term plans.

Key responsibilities include:

• Spectrum Modeling: Long-term forecasting of each market's spectrum requirements across various scenarios.
• Group Spectrum Strategy: Defining and updating the company's spectrum strategy based on forecasted requirements, identifying opportunities for optimization of existing assets through re-farming and other techniques, and developing a roadmap for new spectrum acquisition opportunities.
• Regulatory Support: Representing technology in regulatory investigations, providing technical consultation services relating to spectrum, and evaluating impacts from regulatory consultations.
• Network Introduction: Supporting markets in introducing viable new technologies, such as 5G.
• Advanced Network Sharing Technologies: Supporting markets in network sharing technologies, including representing technology in regulatory and legal investigations, providing technical consultation services, and aiding the formulation of a legal council opinion.

This role requires strong mathematical and network modeling skills, experience with spectrum management, technical regulation, access technology, and strategic thinking.

Required Qualifications:

• Education: A minimum of Grade 12, with a 3-year B.Sc in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field being essential.
• Experience: A minimum of 5-8 years of experience in spectrum management is required.
• Advantageous Qualifications: A Master's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering may be beneficial but is not necessary.
