Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in the mining industry
• Inspect and troubleshoot electrical faults and malfunctions
• Follow electrical codes and safety regulations
• Collaborate with a team of professionals to complete projects
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

Requirements

• Electrical Trade Test Certificates is essential
• Conveyor experience is essential
• At least 3 years experience working on underground conveyor belt, de-watering pumping systems, rock breaker machines, chairlifts, and compressors is essential.
• Familiar with hybrid mining
• Valid medical certificate or be medically fit to obtain such a certificate is essential
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and equipment used in the mining industry
• Experience in troubleshooting electrical faults and conducting repairs
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
• Attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Physical fitness and the ability to work in various underground and surface mining environments
