What We Expect:


What You will be Doing:

Assist with compiling of financial transactions, accounts payable, accounts receivable, expense claims, etc.

Assist with preparing and maintaining financial reports and spreadsheets.

Ensure accurate capturing of all financial details in the accounting system (QuickBooks).

Accurately prepare account reconciliations, identify any discrepancies, and if applicable, reporting and / or resolving of such.

Process customer Invoices.

Attend to all queries.

Do and follow up on debt collection when necessary.

Maintain the Asset Register.

Assist with Annual Financial Audits, as well as any Training Project related Audits.

Assist with Annual Budget preparation, ensuring that expenditures are posted to the correct accounts.

Perform all daily general office administrative duties.

Actively participate in meetings and taking of minutes when requested to do so.


Requirements and Skills:

Grade 12 with Mathematics, coupled with any tertiary studies in bookkeeping and / or finance and / or accounting.

Superior computer literacy proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook essential.

Proven working knowledge of Accounting Software (preferably QuickBooks).

A minimum of 2 years proven working experience in a bookkeeping and / or finance and / or accounting role.

Excellent administrative and clerical skills.

Ability to work both independently and in a team.

Technical acumen and in-depth knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting procedures.

Problem solving skills.

Effectively managing own work.

Attention to Detail

Planning and organising.
