    Description

    My client is seeking a contractor to fulfill the role of Finance Manager initially for 6 months.

    Responsibilities:

    • Ensure accurate,reliable and timeous financial and management info to Mauritius Business Units, highlight areas needing improvement/correction
    • Ensure admin,shipping,logistics, financial support to Director and Merchandise team
    • Ensure timeous and valuable interaction with all stakeholders in Mauritius and Madagascar
    • Ensure ample support and service to stakeholders in Mauritius, manage shipping and delivery schedules
    • Ensure that accounts and shipping services are managed with ample staff and IT resources, support trade and timeous reports
    • Ensure deliveries are invoiced and paid timeously
    • Ensure office costs are minimized and maximize revenue and funds transferred to Mauritius
    • Financial reporting and controls
    • Financial statements and year end statutory audit
    • Accounting
    • Treasury
    • Inventories
    • Budget processes and controls
    • Tax

    Requirements:

    • BCom
    • 5 Years relevant experience
    • Available Immediately
