Are you an innovative design leader with a flair for crafting exceptional visual narratives? Mukuru is seeking a Lead Visual Design Strategist to spearhead our internal design initiatives and propel transformative projects. In this crucial position, you will collaborate directly with the Marketing Manager, steering our creative vision and ensuring our brand identity resonates across both digital and traditional channels.

Your primary responsibilities will include defining the design vision, executing our Corporate Identity, and working in tandem with the marketing team and key stakeholders. Your role will also encompass liaising with external digital, creative, and media partners to produce unified and impactful design solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Minimum of Grade 12 or equivalent (Essential)
3-year Graphic Design Degree / Diploma qualification (Essential)
5-8 years of professional experience in design (Essential)
Proficiency in packaging design (Essential)
Experience in managing marketing projects from inception to execution (Essential)
Previous agency experience (Desirable)
Expertise in Interactive Media (Essential)
Photography skills (Desirable)
Design experience for print, digital, and out-of-home (Essential)
Animation capabilities (Desirable)
Advanced proficiency in Adobe Suite, including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
Understanding of marketing communication media processes
Familiarity with Mukuru's product offerings
Strong grasp of creative and graphic design principles
