    Senior Data Engineer

    A well-established marketing organization with international presence is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join their Johannesburg branch. The Senior Data Engineer will work in a hybrid model within the Data Science Team, focusing on the organization's data structure.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    1. Develops enterprise-standard ETL/ELT processes and data lakes using code-based techniques and collaborative environments.
    2. Experience in Agile development processes, utilizing Jira, Git, etc.
    3. Multilingual software development skills.
    4. Proficient in Python, Bash/Shell Scripting, and SQL (PostgreSQL).
    5. Familiarity with Snowflake and DBT.
    6. Knowledge of Dragster and Superset is advantageous.
    7. Expertise in AWS Cloud infrastructure.
    8. Big Data experience is ideal.
    9. Background in market research, marketing industries, and survey & sampling data is beneficial.
