  • The main purpose of this position is to perform multiple repair and maintenance tasks as allocated through the Helpdesk or Operations Manager.
  • REQUIREMENTS:
  • Matric
  • 2 years experience in a similar role
  • Strong technical ability plumbing, electricals, etc.

DUTIES:

General Maintenance:

  • Performs all repairs and maintenance (painting, cleaning, waterproofing, irrigation, replacement of globes & tubes, basic plumbing, door, and lock repairs, cleaning of gutters and full bores, etc.) as requested by the Operations Manager
  • Identify maintenance requirements whilst doing inspections on site.
  • Observes entire property daily and reports leaks, breakages, and nonfunctioning parts to the Ops Manager
  • Responds to complaints from tenants and advise the Ops Manager

Centre night and weekend duties:

  • Responsible for night and weekend duties as agreed with General Manager and Operations Manager

Risk Management:

  • Ensures compliance with relevant Acts
  • Controls, manages and governs the processes and systems within the area of accountability to ensure compliance and minimise business risk.
