We are establishing a new property management team that will consist of a Property Manager, a leasing agent, a maintenance team.

This role will report to the Property Manager. The team will be based in the Bezuidenhout Valley area. The team will be accountable for a growing list of multi-tenanted properties that are currently let for accommodation purposes.

POSITION TITLE:
Property Maintenance Supervisor

RESULT STATEMENT:

This position is accountable for producing the following results in all properties falling under the position holder: zero water leaks, clean yards and communal areas, safe properties, operational efficiency and satisfied tenants.

WORK LISTING:

This list is not exhaustive, it should be seen as a guideline. The work is to be performed according to company procedures and operational standards.

Zero Water Leaks:

Ensure security measures are effective against potential burglaries

Housekeeping:
Keep communal areas and the yard clean, bin collection

Hygiene:
Pest control plan is in place

Electricity Supply:
ensure continuous supply of electricity, checking prepaid meters for any anomalies

Storm water drains are free of obstruction

Maintenance:
Identify maintenance issues by asking tenants and by walking the premises and scheduling maintenance work on time.

Tenants:
Marketing the property, vetting tenants, placing tenants, and tenant management

Rent management:
responsible for full rent collection

Daily Inspections:
property and unit inspections Monday to Saturday

Driving:
transporting the maintenance team and going to viewings
