One of the world's leading international retail digital businesses is seeking an experienced General Ledger & Treasury Administrator to join their team.

Requirements:

Degree / Diploma / National Certificate/or the equivalent thereof with a minimum of 5 years related experience
Strong computer knowledge including but not limited to SAGE X3 or similar accounting package
Microsoft Office (Advanced Excel)
Ability to work independently
Meticulous attention to detail
Ability to perform under pressure
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong organisation skills and problem solving abilities
Customer service skills
Team player

Duties and Responsibilities:

Distribution of credit card statements and collation of credit card recons.
Preparation of recharge schedules.
Fixed Assets maintenance (additions, disposals, depreciation, lifespan/ residual value changes).
Assist with Fixed Asset useful life review changes.
Petty cash recons.
Processing of month end journals including but not limited to Leave & Bonus Provisions, Salary Journals, Accruals.
Installment Sale Agreement financial entries for interest and capital, including interest rate changes.
Deposit account maintenance and reconciliations.
Staff advance and staff loan journals and recon.
Run recurring journals for audit provisions, tax provisions, insurance etc.
