    Description

    We are seeking an accomplished Intermediate Developer to contribute to our software development endeavors. As a skilled professional, you will be responsible for the verification, testing, and release of software related to our energy management product portfolio.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Testing software releases for all products based on product features, specifications, and/or test instructions procedures
    • Implementation of minor software updates
    • Providing technical support on projects
    • Supporting client ticketing and tracking
    • Compiling and developing Business Intelligence (BI) reports using the Microsoft development stack
    • Assisting with user training and support
    • Maintaining user documentation
    • Updating test documentation
    • Conducting systems analysis and design
    • Developing software for new systems or sub-systems
    • Sustaining existing software and systems/products
    • Supporting the engineering team with customer inquiries

    Your Expertise:

    • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Software Developer in a scientific or technical environment
    • In-depth knowledge of Web services, HTML, JavaScript, XML, and SOAP
    • Extensive knowledge of the Microsoft SQL Server technology stack, with MySQL being beneficial
    • Solid experience with C# and .NET, with C/C++ being advantageous
    • Significant experience in designing and delivering products and/or product futures
    • Familiarity with implementing user requirements
    • Good fault-finding and analysis capability
    • The ability to adapt and learn reasonably fast
    • The ability to work effectively in a team environment
    • Knowledge of IT networking

    Qualifications:

    • Matric Certificate
    • B.Sc. Computer Science (Essential)
