About This Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned Canteen Manager and Head Chef to join our client's team. As a key member of the deli department, you will be responsible for ensuring a smooth workflow, maintaining high-quality food products, and providing exceptional customer service.

Main Responsibilities:

• Deli Manager: Oversee the daily operations of the deli department, including managing staff, maintaining inventory levels, and ensuring quality control.
• Canteen Manager: Manage the canteen staff, purchasing, and customer service to ensure a pleasant shopping experience.
• Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of staff members to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
• Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels, manage stock, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries.
• Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintain sanitation standards, and reduce food safety risks.

Duties as Canteen Manager:

• Managed Deli and staff, purchasing, and ensuring customer service and satisfaction
• Coordinate unit forecast and unit accounting process
• Analyse unit and administrative reports
• Create, implement, and manage action plans based on the above reports and personal observation
• Assist in the maintenance of a security function which protects both the assets of the unit and the personal safety of employees and customers
• Maintain sanitation standards and processes to reduce food safety risks

Duties as Head Chef:

• Control and direct the food preparation process and any other relative activities
• Construct menus with new or existing culinary creations ensuring the variety and quality of the servings
