Onsite Durban_
In this role, you will be responsible for performing Finance activities. You will liaise with various teams and deliver to ensure an accurate solution._
You will collaborate with the team and ensure streamlining of existence process and remove NVAs from process._
Responsibilities_

- _Preparing GL schedules and journal entries in the ERP system,_
- _Preparation and completion of COE (Centre of excellence) activities,_
- _Preparing audit schedules and handling audit queries_
- _Perform SOX Controls related to the process_
- _Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss Variance Analysis etc._
- _Handling queries of various partners_
- _Preparation of Balance Sheet Reconciliations, in line with the Walmart policy_
- _Maintenance of BS open items_
- _Completion of reconciliations in line with stipulated timelines_
- _Completion of month end activities_
- _Adherence to all compliance requirements_
- _Completion of mandatory training, in line with stipulated timelines_
- _Completion of admin related tasks for tracking purposes (examples: MOJO, MJE tracker, etc.)_
- _Other ad-hoc requests as required_

Qualifications we seek in you_
Minimum Qualifications_

- _B. Com / Studying towards relevant finance degree_

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills_

- _Time management_
- _Proficient with general accounting and closing and reporting._
- _Proficient in Microsoft Excel/Outlook_
- _Knowledge of SAP, indirect tax would be an added advantage_
