This new and pioneering division within Shoprite is looking to appoint a Coordinator in the ePOS department.


Role Purpose


The purpose of ePOS Coordinator role is to support the ePOS team in their day-to-day tasks through the efficient execution of operational and administrative functions.

The role assumes responsibility for campaign administration, resolving customer and client queries in conjunction with the customer care team, and assisting with setting up of weekly promotional activities on the loyalty pro system.

The role requires a meticulous and adaptable individual who understands urgency and provides excellent administrative support.


Role Description

  • Provide administrative support to the ePOS department through the execution of operational priorities and plans.
  • Setting up of weekly promotional activities on the Lpro system for the campaign managers to review and action.
  • Take minutes of weekly meetings and follow up on action points.
  • Support the ePOS department by assisting with information gathering and collating feedback
  • Assist with the pulling of reports
  • Resolve store queries in a timely manner.
  • Support the Ad Ops Manager through managing the ePOS inbox and following up on outstanding queries.
  • Channel customer queries to the relevant departments and follow up on actions taken.
Qualifications and experience

  • Grade 12 certificate (essential)
  • Degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Marketing or related (desired).
- +2 years' experience as sales administrator or sales support agent with strong knowledge and exposure to sales administrative functions and processes - (essential).

  • Exposure to an ecommerce, media agency or campaign management environment (desired).
  • Strong knowledge and experience in working on different systems and pulling of reports (essential).
  • Knowledge of collaboration tools and processbased workflows (essential).
  • Knowledge and exposure to administrative record keeping (essential)
  • Exposure to a customer care or retail environment
- (highly desired)

  • Experience working with Microsoft Office (desired)
