Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitoring and management of company firewall and network devices
- Provide on-site & remote support to employees working in the office and from home.
- Maintenance and troubleshooting of issues related to Desktops, Laptops, Networks, Routers, Firewalls, Switches, Printers, Backups, Antivirus, Servers, Internet and Email.
- Provide support for cloud-based PBX/telephony system and CRM.
- Onboarding and Offboarding of employees.
- Maintenance of an asset register for all devices in the business.
- POPIA compliance with regard to data protection and security on all company devices.
- New system installations & upgrades (desktop, network, server).
RequirementsExperience and Qualifications
- A tertiary level qualification in IT (Required).
- CompTIA A+ and CompTIA N+ and/or MCSE or equivalent certification (Required).
- A minimum of 1 year's IT helpdesk support experience is required.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication Skills.
- Hands-on' approach and a willingness to learn is a must.
- Commitment to future job-relevant certifications is essential.
- Experience working on firewalls and network devices
