EXPORT CO-ORDINATOR

At {company}, a leading IOEC export trading and brand building company in Durban with a rich 52-year history, we're seeking an experienced French-speaking coordinator to join our dynamic team. As a key player in the export industry, we specialize in exporting FMCGs, fruits, vegetables, meats, wines, and building materials to over 55 countries worldwide.

We are based in Morningside, Durban, and require a skilled coordinator with expertise in exporting FMCG and fresh produce to international clients. The successful candidate will execute export transactions within our company's policies and guidelines, working closely with Business Development and Key Account Managers to deliver on current and new business opportunities.

This role plays a crucial part in maintaining high standards of competence, professionalism, and service as the liaison between our company, suppliers, shippers, and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to enquiries or provide quotes for potential and existing clients.
• Implement financial procedures for confirmed orders.
• Execute confirmed orders/negotiate shipping and operational requirements/issue shipping instructions/supplier confirmation/documentation/stock control (expiry dates etc)/shipping file cover/communication with clients/follow up on actual shipment.
• Business Development and Key Accounts Manager support and backup.

Minimum Experience Required:

• Knowledge of the Export process.
• INCO Terms.
• Export Costings expertise.
• Experience with exportation of mixed goods containers.
• Experience with the exportation of fresh produce.
• Computer literacy and an advanced knowledge of excel.
• Knowledge of export costings.
• Experience with exchange rates and foreign currencies.
• Working knowledge of export documentation.
• Must be able to converse in French.

The salary for this position will be determined by experience, knowledge, and job fit, including a basic salary plus commission.
