    We are looking for passionate maintenance professionals with experience in a production environment to join us in The Netherlands.

    The ideal candidate:

    • Holds a RED SEAL (Trade Tested), N5 or N6 certificate in Millwright, Industrial Electrician, Fitter & Turner, Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineering Diploma;
    • Speaks fluent Afrikaans and English;
    • Has all-round experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance on machines;
    • Has experience with conveyors, motors, hydraulics, pneumatics, troubleshooting, welding (stainless steel / Alu), Siemens PLC, relays, frequency switches;
    • Has experience in a food production environment or in the mining industry;
    • Has experience with preventative maintenance and troubleshooting on machines in a production line;
    • Has 2-4 years of experience maximum;
    • Is in possession of a valid driver's license & passport;
    • Is willing to work in shifts.

    What We Offer

    Contract Details

    • A 2-year contract of 40 hours per week;
    • 25 paid holidays a year plus potential ADV days;
    • All public holidays, up to a maximum of 7 per year, are paid by Xelvin;
    • A holiday allowance of 8.33% of your total gross annual income, paid annually in May;
    • Overtime and shift allowance will be paid accordingly;
    • A travel allowance of €0.23 per km for travelling to work and back home;
    • A monthly salary of approximately €4100 gross (IND-VISA norm for below 30).

    Onboarding & Benefits

    • Xelvin will assist and support you in finding your first house in the Netherlands through our Housing Consultant;
    • Xelvin is certified to handle VISA applications for you and your family, and obtain your work permit;
    • A relocation assistance allowance of €3000 NET will be paid to help with relocation costs;
    • You and your family/partner will be picked up at the airport or train station after arrival;
    • Xelvin will guide you through setting up a Dutch bank account, applying for health insurance, obtaining a Dutch BSN number, and other administrative tasks;
    • A New Hire Dinner will be organized for all newly recruited engineers to explain the Dutch tax system and payslip;
    • Social gatherings will be held with all Xelvin employees and recruited engineers.
