    **Role Overview:**

    Our client, a global asset management company, is seeking a Reward Manager/Assistant to support their Human Capital team. The team operates across London and Cape Town, offering expertise in recruitment, business partnership, development, reward, operations, benefits, wellbeing, and projects.

    The Global Reward Team plays a vital role in designing reward structures and processes that attract and motivate staff while remaining competitive in the global marketplace.

    This is an engaging and challenging role within a growing international business. The successful candidate will be part of a global Reward team of four, with opportunities to expand their role and responsibilities over time.

    **Key Responsibilities:**

    • Annual Compensation Review:
      • Lead the annual compensation review for the Investments team.
      • Prepare divisional costing models and link them with finance reporting.
      • Assist in delivering remuneration reports and disclosures, including those for the Remuneration Committees.
    • Management Information and Analysis:
      • Provide accurate and relevant data to the management team on all Reward-related matters.
      • Prepare financial analysis, models, and management information related to compensation.
      • Support new hires by valuing buy-out awards and providing Reward and financial assistance.
      • In collaboration with Human Capital Finance accountants and external vendors, ensure the accuracy and completeness of compensation data globally.
    • Deferral and Incentive Schemes:
      • Support the Reward Manager in managing the firm's deferred compensation and ownership schemes, particularly share schemes.
    • Share Schemes:
      • Work closely with third-party service providers (Administrators, Trustees, Brokers, Tax/legal advisors) to manage share schemes, including day-to-day transactions and system enhancements.
      • Be the primary point of contact for employees regarding queries and requirements.
      • Responsible for preparing tax/regulatory filings required in each jurisdiction.
      • Collaborate with the Finance/Tax teams to prepare financial reporting on share schemes.
    • Projects & Regulatory:
      • Advise on regulatory matters affecting remuneration and incentive schemes and draft associated documentation and submissions.

      **Requirements:**

      • Hold a recognized financial qualification; CA qualification is desirable.
      • Experience working in a Reward team.
      • Excellent numerical skills.
      • Essential experience in financial services or professional services.
      • Exceptional knowledge of Excel (a test will be administered at the outset to assess level of knowledge).
      • Experience with Oracle financial systems is advantageous.
