Description
5* Hotel & Vineyard in the Franschhoek area is looking for a Restaurant Supervisor.

  • Engaging with the guests in the Restaurant by being present, keeping an eye on service and constant interaction with guests and responding to their needs
  • Assisting with training and quality control and staff managing
  • Communicating relevant information to team, Restaurant Manager and guests
  • Coordinate communication between front of the house and back of the house staff
  • Planning rosters and managing stock flow
  • Implementing new and fresh service ideas
  • Ensuring service standards are upheld and monitored.
  • Doing daily cashups a
  • Monitor compliance with safety and hygiene regulations

Requirements:


  • Grade 12
years previous restaurant experience or similar role in the hospitality industry at a similar establishment

  • Comfortable in dealing with very distinguished clientele
  • Good knowledge of food and beverages, including dietaries, bar and wine varietals
  • Team management & training abilities
  • Must be wellpresented and have strong customer service orientation
  • Excellent interpersonal
