    Description

    Job Title: Treasury and Trading Specialist

    Responsibilities:

    • Participate in treasury and trading activities, including FX trading, money market borrowing and lending, bond investment, and bond issuance while ensuring compliance with guidelines from Head Office and Executive Management directives.
    • Manage the branch's daily liquidity and market operations efficiently and effectively on a daily basis.
    • Coordinate and manage liquidity risks based on available information while adhering to indicators such as LCR and 60/40.
    • Assist customers in meeting their FX and/or investment/financing needs or requirements and resolve customer queries.
    • Identify and market potential customers in line with the Branch's business expansion/development plan.
    • Continuously monitor and analyze financial markets across FX, Money Market, Fixed Income, and raise alerts and reports for significant market fluctuations.
    • Draft weekly market analysis reports and send them to clients.
    • Prepare routine business reports (weekly/monthly/quarterly/Bi-Annual/Annual reports).

    Requirements:

    • A university degree, preferably with science/commercial subjects such as mathematics, actuarial science, financial engineering, finance, or economics as majors.
    • Three years or more of relevant experience in FX products, including FX spot, forward, swap, IRS, CCS, commodities trading, etc.
    • Strong analytical and interpretive skills, effective presentation skills, and report writing abilities.
    • Familiarity with financial markets and products.
    • Problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
    • A strong work ethic, logical thinking, and team player mentality.
