Credit Clerk - Accounts Payable Clerk (Fashion/Clothing & Shoes)

The Position:

We're looking for an energetic Credit Clerk to be based at Head Office in Midrand. The pay range on offer is R to R BasicSalary Per Month.

Requirements:

• Must be South African with a valid South African ID
• Own transport with a valid drivers license is essential
• Completed Matric
• Completed qualification in Finance advantageous
• Proven experience in the retail space
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
• Excellent organizational and leadership abilities
• Strong business acumen with strategic orientation
• Natural Problem solver
• Must have a good understanding of written and verbal communication
• Must be able to work independently and be responsible enough to work without

- supervision

• Must be a Self-Starter with a highly organized mind
• Ability to work in a selfdriven, complex environment with multiple and changing

- priorities


Responsibilities:

• Ensure all invoices and statements are received from suppliers
• Liaise and assist suppliers with all queries on outstanding recons
• Ensure all GRN's are invoiced
• Preparation and monthly maintenance of creditors recons
• Maintain and update daily creditors payment report
• Prepare all month end payments
• Ensure the timely payment of utility bills
• Capture payments made to creditors and other utilities
• Compile month end report for management meetings
• Petty cash reconciliation
• Perform regular reviews of monthly age analysis
• Investigate any long outstanding payments required

Salary:
From R18,000.00 per month

• Midrand, Gauteng: Relocate before starting work (preferred)
