    Description

    Project Manager

    The successful execution of customer contracts and R&D projects is a key responsibility as a Project Manager. Experience in executing technically complex projects aligned to a system engineering management approach is required.

    Your Key Responsibilities

    • Ensure profitable execution of all allocated projects and related contracts within the constraints of schedule, budget and scope.
    • Execute projects and customer contracts in accordance with the SGD Management system.
    • Develop and maintain detailed project management documentation.
    • Maintain effective communication with stakeholders through regular updates.
    • Provide Marketing and Bid support and coordinate the generation of operations data packs.
    • Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
    • Participate in the technical execution of projects and ensure adherence to contractual requirements.

    Your Profile

    To be successful in this role, you will require:

    • Experience in the execution of customer contracts and R&D projects.
    • Strong technical background and ability to work under pressure.
    • Minimum 5-7 years applicable project management experience in Defence or related environment.
    • Excellent financial knowledge and administration skills.
    • Ability to lead virtual project teams and interface with stakeholders at all levels.
    • Strong Communication and interpersonal skills.

    Desired Skills

    • In-depth knowledge of project management in a customer and R&D environment.
    • Knowledge of Electronic Warfare systems fundamentals.
    • Planning and resource management.

    Qualifications

    • Engineering degree or equivalent qualification BSc(Eng.), BEng.
    • Masters level degree is desirable (MBA, Meng, MSc (Eng) or equivalent).
