QUALIFICATIONS:

  • N6 & Trade Test (Electrical/Mechanical/Millwright) + 6 years relevant experience (post apprenticeship) 4 of those years to be in an automation field OR
  • S4 or T4 (Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics Engineering) + 4year experience. OR
  • B. Tech / BSc (Electronics/Electrical/Mechatronics Engineering) + 3 years of experience.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Expert and good handson experience in automotive PLCs, Robotics, Servo Control systems and VSDs
  • Experience in welding parameter optimization for productivity efficiency.
  • SCADA system and HMI development, coupled with the ability to integrate automated systems.
  • Thorough understanding of Hydraulics, Pneumatics and Electro-Pneumatics
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 & 1400
  • Extensive project management
  • Prepared to do overtime and shifts and callouts as required.
  • Computer literate (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Projects).
