    Waiter/Waitress Opportunity

    Delaire Graff Restaurant is seeking a skilled Waiter/Waitress to provide exceptional service, ensuring outstanding customer satisfaction.

    Main Responsibilities:

    • Greet guests at assigned tables and verify that each guest has received a menu and wine list.
    • Display in-depth knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods.
    • Ensure tables are properly set with linens, silverware, and glasses.
    • Take accurate food and drink orders, ensuring timely receipt by bar and kitchen staff.
    • Clear dirty cutlery and crockery from the table once guests have finished using them.
    • Offer desserts and coffee to guests.
    • Process bills accurately.
    • Maintain impeccable personal hygiene and appearance standards.
    • Ensure uniform is clean and pressed.

    Requirements:

    • Grade 12 certificate.
    • Previous waiting experience preferred (1 year minimum).
    • Proficiency with cash registers and ordering systems.
    • Fundamental math skills.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Strong customer service orientation and active listening abilities.
    • Patience and attentiveness when dealing with customers.
    • Comfortable interacting with distinguished clientele.
    • Must be well-presented and professional.
    • Flexibility and accountability in a fast-paced environment.
    • Enthusiastic personality.
    • Reliable transportation.

    Estimated Salary: R 25,000 - R 35,000 per month
