    Description

    Brand New Spa opening in Hoedspruit, we are currently recruiting for an experienced Spa Manager with Hotel experience to manage the team.

    Requirements

    • Qualified Health & Skin Care Therapist with a nationally recognized Diploma (minimum 2-year course).
    • Experience required of at least 7 years in a luxury spa and hospitality environment of which 2 years in a
    • management/ supervisory role.
    • Excellent reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the English language.
    • Experienced in Spa software management (ChiDesk advantageous).
    • Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Excel) and professional email etiquette.
    • Additional managerial, business, or self-development courses are advantageous.

    Duties:

    • Manage day-to-day Operations of the spa
    • Ensures all treatments delivered by therapists are consistent with SOPs and the ability for performing treatments as per operational needs
    • Ensures the Spa operating procedures, policies, and quality control documents are consistent, implemented, and regularly monitored.Ensures personalized and ethical homecare recommendations and products are offered to all guests as part of the guest's journey and experience.
    • Develops, monitors, and reviews all staffing needs and challenges, maximizes scheduling opportunities, and performs reception and cash-up duties as per operational needs
    • Always maintains and upholds a professional image, behavior, and reputation of self and team, including when off-duty.
    • Ensures administrative tasks, such as record-keeping, scheduling appointments, and handling billing and payment processing is completed accurately and meet the required set timelines
    • Responsible for motivating and driving revenue to meet and exceed established targets. To monitor and mentor each employee to consistently improve performance and achieve their set target
    • Motivates and encourages the Spa team to maximize revenue opportunities by actively promoting all Spa services, products, and special offerings.
    • Create innovative revenue opportunities by communicating new spa services and product trends
    • Actively participates in promoting the Spa to the Hotel and its guests through pre-arrival communication, internal collateral, pop-up spas, corporate and leisure group bookings, meetings, and events.
    • Responsible to ensure high guest satisfaction scores are achieved and maintained by ensuring all guests are encouraged to share feedback on any of the available platforms. This includes following up with all feedback especially negative or constructive feedback Maintain a conversion ratio of Hotel Guest utilizing the Spa
    • Maintain Guest Feedback and ensure satisfactory ratings for an overall spa experience
    • Grow and develop spa team members by ensuring regular training sessions are being done
    • Stock control & stock orders
    • Ensure monthly/quarterly targets are met consistently
