    Job Description:

    The Head of IT Assurance and Digital Innovation will play a crucial role in improving quality within our network and driving digital transformation.

    Key Performance Areas:

    IT Audit:

    • Develop and implement a risk-based IT audit methodology and plan.
    • Perform research and prepare recommendations to the Technical Committee on topical IT Audit matters.
    • Prepare guidance for the network on IT Audit technical matters.
    • Prepare and/or update relevant IT audit templates or working papers.
    • Perform IT audit technical consults within the network.
    • Regular interactions with member firms and discussions on topical IT audit matters with the engagement partners and leadership of the member firms.
    • Prepare high quality guidance documents/written reports.
    • Participate in relevant network-related quality initiatives/projects.
    • Conduct audits of IT systems, applications, and processes.
    • Review and enhance IT policies, procedures, and governance frameworks.
    • Ensure the effectiveness of data and information controls.

    Digital Innovation:

    • Lead the development and execution of digital transformation strategies.
    • Identify opportunities for leveraging new technologies to improve business processes and customer experiences.
    • Manage digital projects.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and digital initiatives.
    • Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in digital innovation.

    Requirements:

    • CA (SA) who trained in public practice (external audit).
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT audit and digital innovation roles.
    • Professional certifications such as CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor), CRISC (Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control), or CISM (Certified Information Security Manager) are preferred.
    • Strong knowledge of IT governance, risk management, and audit practices.
    • Proven track record of managing digital projects and driving innovation.
    • Advanced risk management and audit skills.
    • Strong IT governance and compliance knowledge.
    • Proficiency in digital technologies and project management.
    • Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities.
