SNR OPERATIONS MANAGER, Snr Key Position, R55-65k, PTA_

Engineering company specializing in Electronic systems requires the following:

The Senior Operations Manager is responsible for managing the daily operations of the organization such that the Company achieves its organizational objectives.

The role includes a strong business development focus, as well as managing the various operational functions, in alignment with the company strategic plan.

This role is positioned on the senior management track and should ideally develop into a General Manager position within 2-5 years.

A suitable tertiary qualification (advantage) either in a technical or management/commercial direction such as a B. Eng, B Comm or MBA;_
At least 8 years' experience of managing a large engineering department or a manufacturing operation;_
Experience of having led Executive or Management Committees and of reporting to a Board would be ideal_
Proficiency and solid experience in Sales and Business development_
