    Job Overview

    The successful CS Sales Manager will be responsible for driving the sales of plant equipment in the non-food business, focusing on chain conveyor and components.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Customer Understanding: Develop a deep understanding of customer needs and preferences to effectively segment and serve them.
    • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market trend analysis within their cluster to stay informed about competitive landscapes and customer behaviors.
    • Relationship Management: Collaborate with the team to establish and maintain strong customer relationships centered around CS topics.
    • Sales and Quotation Support: Initiate quotation processes for CS offerings and ensure timely responses to customers.
    • Sales Lead Generation: Identify and pursue new sales opportunities for equipment/plant business.
    • ASM Support: Work closely with the ASM to achieve specific business goals.
    • Customer Relationship Management (CRM): Leverage CRM tools to track dedicated data sets and drive business growth.
    • Business Development: Drive the development of the CS business within the relevant Business Unit to meet revenue targets.

    Desired Experience & Qualification

    • Minimum 5 years of professional experience with a proven track record.
    • External Candidates: Previous experience as a plant, maintenance, or operations manager.
    • Education: Basic mechanical/industrial engineering degree.
    • Business Fundamentals: Understanding of business administration and marketing principles.
    • Tools: Proficiency in MS Office and internal software, including Intranet (B-World, SAP Quotation, CRM, etc.).
    • Business Acumen: Knowledge of key value drivers affecting customer profit and loss statements, with the ability to explain the impact of our services on ROI.
    • Technical Background: Sufficient technical knowledge to understand client processes, including overall transformation and operations processes.
    • Sales and Service Expertise: Experience in sales and service within process engineering operations.
    • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the mining/energy sector.
