Store Manager - Toy Kingdom Greenstone

Toy Kingdom is seeking a friendly, enthusiastic, and energetic team-members. If you have excellent customer service skills, are a passionate team player and have a real desire to understand our toy products and match them to meet our customer needs to make phenomenal sales, then we want you to form part of our exciting team

This position has a direct report into the Operations Director and will suit an individual who is a strategic thinker and has a passion for retail.

It is expected that this person has a proven track record of success, target driven and has sufficient experience in managing large teams of people.

Key deliverables:

  • Manage customer relationships to deliver consistently outstanding customer service
  • Drive a consistent customer centric culture within the store
  • Demonstrate mature leadership skills to recruit, train and develop one of our most important resources our people
  • Develop a highperformance team and culture, focusing on ownership, accountability, and performance
  • Drive team and business performance in line with Company Values
  • Contribute to and ensure the successful execution of the company's strategic objectives
  • Manage and improve the stores profit and loss to achieve agreed financial objectives
  • Develop and manage annual operational budgets and projections
  • Achieving and exceeding targets
  • Manage the daytoday store operations
  • Identify and act on new business opportunities
  • Exercise exceptional entrepreneurial and commercial thinking to drive sales and overall store performance
  • Consistent delivery of all agreed KPI's including sales and profit growth, expensestoturnover ratio, and shrinkage

Qualifications and Core Competencies:

  • Grade 12 or Equivalent certificate
  • Tertiary qualification (advantageous)
  • Minimum of 35 years relevant working experience
  • Proven track record of managing a team
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Strong team leadership, planning and organisational skills.
  • Able to drive change and persuade and influence both internal and external stakeholders
  • A high level of maturity, emotional intelligence and insight into diverse teams and individuals
  • Strong entrepreneurial and analytical skills
  • Experience in dealing with and managing Employee Relations
