- Minimum 3-5 years experience in a position managing a cold store
- Day/Night shifts with staff about 15-25
- Loading of trucks per shift
- Experience in the meat industry advantageous
- Must have good management skills, problem & crisis solving skills
- Valid drivers license and own transport essential
- Must be prepared to move to Queenstown
- Must be a hard worker and put in extra time if needed.
- Must be able to work in cold environment with protective gear (Provided)
- English Essential, Afrikaans and Xhosa advantageous
- Experience with stock control and rotation
- Must be neat and tidy by nature. Ensure all chillers and freezers are kept in a decent manner
- Good paperwork skills, filling ,collecting and checking of POD's, paperwork for returns and handling thereof
- Must have skill set to legally maximize loads going out
- Able to manage over 25 staff
