    Job Description:

    Main Responsibilities:

    • Manage debtors by acknowledging debts, company sponsorships, and student queries.
    • Prepare a monthly bad debt analysis report.
    • Generate a debtors offset report for year-end financial preparations.
    • Create management accounts on a monthly basis.
    • Apply finance department policies, processes, and procedures.
    • Interpret and apply accounting standards, laws, and regulations.
    • Complete vendor application forms.
    • Review payment plans for new intakes and ensure adherence to policy.
    • Manage reports for new intake preparations.
    • Produce reports for stakeholders.
    • Maintain balance sheet reconciliation and review.
    • Plan and prepare budgeting and forecasting reports.
    • Review and approve credit notes.
    • Support various finance projects, such as cost savings initiatives.
    • Develop finance dashboards for team projects, including maintenance.
    • Assist in BBBEE evidence collection (verification and updating procurement documents).
    • Review and update BBBEE certificates monthly, with reporting.
    • Participate in audit preparations.
    • Maintain accurate records and filing.

    Candidate Requirements:

    • Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
    • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in debtors' management, with direct reports.
    • 3-5 years' experience in financial statement preparation, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
    • 3-5 years' experience managing accounts receivable, credit control, and debt collection processes.
    • Advanced skills in financial software (e.g., SAGE 300) and Excel for financial modeling and data analysis.
