Transportation and Logistics Manager (3PL)
This position involves a range of responsibilities, from planning multi-drop deliveries to managing transportation relationships and monitoring costs.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage operations according to
RTMS system:
Plan routes and schedule multi-drop deliveries, ensuring efficient load scheduling.
Book deliveries and maintain effective communication with customers to meet their requirements.
Allocate and record resources and movements using our transport planning system.
Collaborate with partners in the supply chain to ensure smooth and effective operations.
Coordinate with clients, addressing their needs and providing timely responses.
Book and manage subcontractors, ensuring compliance with agreed terms.
Direct all transportation activities, developing and nurturing strong relationships.
Monitor transportation costs, negotiate prices, and optimize expenditure.
Address challenges such as congestion and contribute to sustainable transport strategies.
Stay informed about climate change issues and implement strategies to monitor the organization's carbon footprint.
