Have the skills to strategically drive software products within a business Then this is the role for you. Join our large global client in the role of Development Director.

Purpose of the role**:

Build and lead a globally distributed team of engineers.
Execute a number of initiatives which contribute to the build of their global platforms.
Take responsibility for coding corefeature implementation projects and Greenfield projects.
In collaboration with the product team and stakeholders, understand the needs of the business in order to deliver innovative, robust solutions.
Development of backend and frontend solutions within an agile environment.
Planning and design
Technology evaluation and research

Qualificatio
ns and Experience Required:

BSc Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent degree.
Minimum 10 years of full stack web software development experience
At least 4 years of experience managing a Software Development team.
Experience working in an agile team managed by Scrum.
Proven ability in taking a feature, task or product all the way from conception to completion and release
Angular, HTML 5, CSS, SQL, Python, Django
REST APIs
Tableau
Android Hardware and Development with Kotlin
Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong interpersonal and teambuilding skills.
Capacity and inclination to learn
Passionate about building scalable system
